    They were supposed to schedule our pick up. First company was scheduled, they never called the first day. the second day, they never called. I then asked Able to find a new company. they were scheduled and then cancelled the day of.
    Able had no excuse, nothing. A lame apology that does me no good. Now I have to try and find a new company.

    My car was in excellent condition before being shipped by Able Auto. They were very quick; however, it did not arrive in the condition they had picked it up. The front ride side had been damaged. It had many dents and scratches, which they had tried to cover up by glueing some pieces back together. The wheel was also scratched. I don’t see how damage like this happens from being shipped. I belive my car was taken for a drive when it was damaged. This happened in March, so they have had 7 months to resolve my claim. I have still received no money and my car has not been fixed. I have contacted Able Auto over one hundred times with no success. I don’t want this to happen to other people. Please do not use this company. They will do nothing if your car get damaged. You will never see any money even though they claim to have insurance. They will do nothing to help you.

    I am beyond dissapointed with this company. on the homepage and the initial quote it stated pickup within 1-5 days. It has been two weeks! and is still sitting there. If it was a price issue ( you quoted me to low) you could have contacted me and said it would cost more but you made promises that were not delivered as well as did not follow up.( even if you were upping the commision as they said it would have been picked up already, which leads me to believe that was a fallty statement) I will never recommend your company to anyone.
    And I am beyond upset that it has been delayed this long.
    So cancell my order as promptly as possible so i can contact another broker who hopefully is more honest then your company has been

    I just shipped my Mazda Miata to Hawaii from Arkansas using Able Auto Transport and they were WONDERFUL. They booked me with Cougar Auto Transport to move my car to California, and they used Matson to ship it to Hawaii. The estimated shipping time was 3 to 4 weeks, the car arrived unscathed in two weeks, two days. They were also hundreds of dollars cheaper than other offers for moving my car that I received. I am so impressed with Able Auto, I would definitely use them again!
    During the month or so prior to booking my car move I was frequently in contact with the company, they were friendly and easy to get ahold of. I also had several emails from them explaining the details of the car move. They gave me my Matson booking number so I was able to track my car its whole way across the ocean and I knew exactly when it would be here.
    I did book my car move 30 days prior to my requested pickup date, so that may be why it worked out better for me than people who book their move and expect to have the car picked up that week. I feel that it’s best to book in advance.

  6. I used Able because they were recommended by the person I bought the car from. They subbed out the transport of my vehicle, the driver wrecked my car at delivery. They have not helped to resolve the problem nor did they really know that the driver did not have insurance for the type accident he caused. I found that the driver was also a sub for another company that did have insurance but they will not return my calls and denied to their own insurance company that this was their driver.

  8. I contracted Able Auto Transport on a Saturday and the dispatcher lead me to believe she could get a driver possibly that day or the following Monday at the latest. When I heard nothing by Tuesday mid-day, I called and the operator stated it might be 3-5 more days before they get a driver. I mentioned I might have to cancel and how do I do that. They stated I e-mail the person who sent my confirmation # and cancel. I then contacted another company who immediately had a driver set up for that day. It appeared that my previous phone call to Able lit a fire under the dispatchers seat because she was tracking my activity and when I checked the status before cancelling it still stated finding a driver I had no e-mail to confirm a driver and no phone call so I sent the cancellation within a couple of minutes the dispatcher sent an email and confirmed they had a driver so I was commited to paying the deposit. The problem is my e-mail to cancel was sent before this. It appears they tracked my activity and just so happened to come up with the same carrier as the other company I called. I am aware now that some car companies watch and try to outbid the competition if it comes to that. Obviously they were sitting on my order to get as much as they could of the deposit and pay the lowest price to the driver. This will delay the delivery of your car. Do not leave a credit card number with Able to draw a deposit because they will do everything they can to keep your deposit. Better yet do not use Able Auto Transport in the first place.
