I am very unhappy with the service and time of the transportation of my vehicle… I was told on the 22nd of March that my vehicle would be in port on 1 April and that the driver would pick it up on 2 April and delivered on 7 April. I called on the 7th of April and asked what time my vehicle should arrive they then changed the date of drop off to April 10th it never arrived. I then called on April 12th to see when it would arrive and was then told that it would not arrive until the 14th of April… I will never use this company again for any transport of any more vehicles..

  3. Agreed!!! Most unprofessional service I have EVER dealt with. I called the day before my car was to be picked up to confirm, and they said I was good to go. Never…showed…up.
Called and called and they never called back.

  5. We have used vehicle transport brokers in the past and this is by far the worst experience. After providing a deposit the pickup was guaranteed within 5 days. After zero contact 6 days later requested a refund and was promised a pickup next day. Transport was from CA to TX (3 days max). 1 Shot would not provide driver info en route and we constantly left messages with no reply. Vehicle arrived 7 days later with a demand for higher $ than contracted. 1 Shot said to pay the diff. and they would refund. No refund to date. Worst communication & service I have ever experioenced. BEWARE!

I live as a student in New Orleans, LA and make trips back to my home in Miami, FL every so often. I always expect to have my vehicle taken there and began having other companies do my transport. To say the least, there was always an issue, and said issues always delayed my trips majorly. So, I finally called 1Shot, who were definitely the best I have ever worked with! They were friendly, prompt, fairly priced, and most definitely caring about my vehicle. To say the least, I will continue to use them for my commutes.

1 Shot Express is the worst provider of service (and I use the term advisedly) that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

I called Chris on May 31. After receiving assurance that 1 Shot would pick my son’s Sport Trak up in Long Grove, Illinois on June 2 or 3, and deliver it to him in Los Angeles on June 9, I booked with 1 Shot and paid a $150 deposit. Chris promised that I would receive a telephone call on June 1, advising of the pick-up time on June 2 or 3.

1 Shot didn’t call on June 1. When I called that evening, nobody answered the phone. I left a message in voice mail asking that somebody call to advise of the pick-up time. 1 Shot did not return my call.

I called on June 2 and spoke with Chris. He expressed suprise that I had not received a call with a pick-up time. Chris promised to check with his dispatcher and call to confirm the pick-up time. He did not call back.

I called on June 3; this time I spoke with David. David told me that 1 Shot’s truck was running late, and that 1 Shot would pick-up the Sport Trak on Friday, June 4, or Saturday morning, June 5. He said that after picking up the Sport Trak, the truck had a straight shot to LA, and would deliver the Sport Trak on time. He also told me that I would receive a phone call by noon on Friday, June 4, advising of the pick-up time. While speaking with David on June 3, I told David that that I noticed that the pick-up address on the Order Receipt listed the wrong suburb of Chicago. I corrected the address over the phone, and sent an email to Chris confirming the information that David had provided, and advising Chris of the correct address.

I did not receive the call promised on June 4. When I called 1 Shot the evening of June 4 to ask about the pick up time, I went into voice mail. I left a message; my call was not returned.

I called the morning of June 5 and reached Chris. Chris expressed suprise that I had not been contacted with a delivery time. He promised to check with his dispatcher and call back promptly. I explained to Chris that I was supposed to attend the screening Saturday afternoon of two movies produced by son at Northwestern, and asked that he get back to me promptly. He promised to do so.

I waited 40 minutes and didn’t hear from Chris. I called back and reached John. John told me that Chris was gone for the day. I told John about my repeated calls, and the repeated promises made by 1 Shot. John told me that he would check with his dispatcher. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, John reported that the truck would arrive at my house between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Needless to say, the truck did not arrive, and I did not receive a call from the driver. When I called 1 Shot, at its 954-378-0940 telephone number, I received a message advising that the number was not accepting calls. I made several calls 1 Shot’s 1-800-270-6841 number and received messages that “all circuits are busy.” I tried to access 1 Shot’s website, and received a message that the site is no longer available.

At this point, I don’t know whether 1 Shot is an incredibly poorly run company, or a fraud. It appears that phone lines and the website have been shut down, causing me to fear that this company is in the business of collecting deposits, and not in the business of delivering cars.

If I hear further from 1 Shot, I’ll update this post. As it stands now, my wife an I are missing the showing of our son’s films, and he’s going to walking when he arrives in LA next week.

    Colorado to New Jersey
    $750

This people gave me the best quote and no hidden charges or anything. I would definitely call for my next car transportation. Car condition was also good. Not sure whether they do it for all but for my car it was same truck pick up and drop. It is possible that your car may travel through multiple carriers but that didn’t happen for me :-) . Just one day late pickup and hence one day late arrival at destination is not bad.

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE they contacted me numerous times after i requested a quote from numerous transport services. I finally decided to go with One ShotExpress I put down a deposit of $150 and was told the remainder would be due upon delivery. I thought great they were friendly, insistant and talked a good game my troubles began after they received my deposit. I was told my car would be picked up 07/06/10,the day came with no pick up upon calling and giving my name I was placed on hold then the line would go dead I was constantly hung up on.After numerous calls I finally got in touch with Chris who told me there was a delay and my car would be picked up 07/07/10.Once again the day came and went with no pick up I called numerous times still having faith in them but starting to believe something just wasnt right. I called and was very upset and was hung up on shortly after chris contacted me leaving a voicemail. However another transporter contacted me completely distressed I explained to the company what happened they promptly let me know that they had alot of customers come in with similar stories about one shot express I was shocked. I checked my voice mail not believing and called Chris back. He told me it was a scare tactic by the company to get me to go with them and I believed him he even gave me the drivers number to contact saying the driver was actually ahead of schedule and that my car would be picked up 07/07/2010.And that if they were not going to provide services they would give me a refund. After hours passed and my car was not picked up my peace of mind slowly dwindled and I decided to call the driver it was a bogus number I was shocked and thats when I realized I had been got. I wrote an email asking them to refund my money because i had read reviews that said they were frauds. They had the audacity to not even apoligize because they were at fault instead they threatened to press charges on me for slauder and harassment.Never in my life have I experienced such horrible service, these people are criminal and because of them I NEVER want to deal with a transporting company ever again. As a first year paralegal student I simply laughed at there threat, they refuse to issue a refund so now I have to go through my bank to get a refund for services not rendered because I definitely received no services from this company what so ever. I would tell anybody thinking of going with one shot express to run for there life!
