I am very unhappy with the service and time of the transportation of my vehicle… I was told on the 22nd of March that my vehicle would be in port on 1 April and that the driver would pick it up on 2 April and delivered on 7 April. I called on the 7th of April and asked what time my vehicle should arrive they then changed the date of drop off to April 10th it never arrived. I then called on April 12th to see when it would arrive and was then told that it would not arrive until the 14th of April… I will never use this company again for any transport of any more vehicles..

  3. Agreed!!! Most unprofessional service I have EVER dealt with. I called the day before my car was to be picked up to confirm, and they said I was good to go. Never…showed…up.
Called and called and they never called back.

  5. We have used vehicle transport brokers in the past and this is by far the worst experience. After providing a deposit the pickup was guaranteed within 5 days. After zero contact 6 days later requested a refund and was promised a pickup next day. Transport was from CA to TX (3 days max). 1 Shot would not provide driver info en route and we constantly left messages with no reply. Vehicle arrived 7 days later with a demand for higher $ than contracted. 1 Shot said to pay the diff. and they would refund. No refund to date. Worst communication & service I have ever experioenced. BEWARE!

I live as a student in New Orleans, LA and make trips back to my home in Miami, FL every so often. I always expect to have my vehicle taken there and began having other companies do my transport. To say the least, there was always an issue, and said issues always delayed my trips majorly. So, I finally called 1Shot, who were definitely the best I have ever worked with! They were friendly, prompt, fairly priced, and most definitely caring about my vehicle. To say the least, I will continue to use them for my commutes.

1 Shot Express is the worst provider of service (and I use the term advisedly) that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

I called Chris on May 31. After receiving assurance that 1 Shot would pick my son’s Sport Trak up in Long Grove, Illinois on June 2 or 3, and deliver it to him in Los Angeles on June 9, I booked with 1 Shot and paid a $150 deposit. Chris promised that I would receive a telephone call on June 1, advising of the pick-up time on June 2 or 3.

1 Shot didn’t call on June 1. When I called that evening, nobody answered the phone. I left a message in voice mail asking that somebody call to advise of the pick-up time. 1 Shot did not return my call.

I called on June 2 and spoke with Chris. He expressed suprise that I had not received a call with a pick-up time. Chris promised to check with his dispatcher and call to confirm the pick-up time. He did not call back.

I called on June 3; this time I spoke with David. David told me that 1 Shot’s truck was running late, and that 1 Shot would pick-up the Sport Trak on Friday, June 4, or Saturday morning, June 5. He said that after picking up the Sport Trak, the truck had a straight shot to LA, and would deliver the Sport Trak on time. He also told me that I would receive a phone call by noon on Friday, June 4, advising of the pick-up time. While speaking with David on June 3, I told David that that I noticed that the pick-up address on the Order Receipt listed the wrong suburb of Chicago. I corrected the address over the phone, and sent an email to Chris confirming the information that David had provided, and advising Chris of the correct address.

I did not receive the call promised on June 4. When I called 1 Shot the evening of June 4 to ask about the pick up time, I went into voice mail. I left a message; my call was not returned.

I called the morning of June 5 and reached Chris. Chris expressed suprise that I had not been contacted with a delivery time. He promised to check with his dispatcher and call back promptly. I explained to Chris that I was supposed to attend the screening Saturday afternoon of two movies produced by son at Northwestern, and asked that he get back to me promptly. He promised to do so.

I waited 40 minutes and didn’t hear from Chris. I called back and reached John. John told me that Chris was gone for the day. I told John about my repeated calls, and the repeated promises made by 1 Shot. John told me that he would check with his dispatcher. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, John reported that the truck would arrive at my house between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Needless to say, the truck did not arrive, and I did not receive a call from the driver. When I called 1 Shot, at its 954-378-0940 telephone number, I received a message advising that the number was not accepting calls. I made several calls 1 Shot’s 1-800-270-6841 number and received messages that “all circuits are busy.” I tried to access 1 Shot’s website, and received a message that the site is no longer available.

At this point, I don’t know whether 1 Shot is an incredibly poorly run company, or a fraud. It appears that phone lines and the website have been shut down, causing me to fear that this company is in the business of collecting deposits, and not in the business of delivering cars.

If I hear further from 1 Shot, I’ll update this post. As it stands now, my wife an I are missing the showing of our son’s films, and he’s going to walking when he arrives in LA next week.

    Colorado to New Jersey
    $750

This people gave me the best quote and no hidden charges or anything. I would definitely call for my next car transportation. Car condition was also good. Not sure whether they do it for all but for my car it was same truck pick up and drop. It is possible that your car may travel through multiple carriers but that didn’t happen for me :-) . Just one day late pickup and hence one day late arrival at destination is not bad.

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE they contacted me numerous times after i requested a quote from numerous transport services. I finally decided to go with One ShotExpress I put down a deposit of $150 and was told the remainder would be due upon delivery. I thought great they were friendly, insistant and talked a good game my troubles began after they received my deposit. I was told my car would be picked up 07/06/10,the day came with no pick up upon calling and giving my name I was placed on hold then the line would go dead I was constantly hung up on.After numerous calls I finally got in touch with Chris who told me there was a delay and my car would be picked up 07/07/10.Once again the day came and went with no pick up I called numerous times still having faith in them but starting to believe something just wasnt right. I called and was very upset and was hung up on shortly after chris contacted me leaving a voicemail. However another transporter contacted me completely distressed I explained to the company what happened they promptly let me know that they had alot of customers come in with similar stories about one shot express I was shocked. I checked my voice mail not believing and called Chris back. He told me it was a scare tactic by the company to get me to go with them and I believed him he even gave me the drivers number to contact saying the driver was actually ahead of schedule and that my car would be picked up 07/07/2010.And that if they were not going to provide services they would give me a refund. After hours passed and my car was not picked up my peace of mind slowly dwindled and I decided to call the driver it was a bogus number I was shocked and thats when I realized I had been got. I wrote an email asking them to refund my money because i had read reviews that said they were frauds. They had the audacity to not even apoligize because they were at fault instead they threatened to press charges on me for slauder and harassment.Never in my life have I experienced such horrible service, these people are criminal and because of them I NEVER want to deal with a transporting company ever again. As a first year paralegal student I simply laughed at there threat, they refuse to issue a refund so now I have to go through my bank to get a refund for services not rendered because I definitely received no services from this company what so ever. I would tell anybody thinking of going with one shot express to run for there life!

The WORST EXPERIENCE!! Our car was picked up on July 1, 2010 in Oklahoma and made it all the way to Florida by July 5th. (Delivered by Fine Things Auto…they did a great job.) 1Shot Express then took 7 full days to get the car 15 miles to the freight forwarder. Call after call, 1Shot kept saying that the car was going to be delivered that day..then the next day…then it had already left. Then it was the freight forwarders fault. (My freight forwarder is awesome and I have used him for years so I knew that Emilio at 1Shot was just looking for someone to blame.) Because they failed to deliver the car as scheduled we had to rent a car which cost us an extra $265.00. (We had allowed plenty of time for the auto to make it to the destination but 1Shot Express killed any hope of that!!) Now to add insult to injury, when I returned back home I receive, in the mail, a statement from the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority for two toll violations. Apparently, while transporting my car that last 15 miles they decided to breeze through the pikepass lane and I got stuck with two fines!@! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! THEY ARE THE WORST! Also, I can’t get the one star to remove from the “Reliability” catagory because, in all cases, I think 1Shot is a ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    TERRIBLE!
I just went through a similar experience to others on this forum. They assured me a pick up date, then nothing happened, could not get anybody on the phone, left numerous messages, no reply. Then to top it off, they BILLED my credit card the $150 for NO SERVICE. They said they would only take deposit WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP. I have already opened a dispute with my credit card company plus filing a complaint with the Florida BBB. I encourage this, and maybe this company will be taken out. They already have a stellar rating of D- for the BBB in Florida. Stay far away from these idiots. They will tell you what you want to hear to get your business, bill you, then not deliver your car or any good service.

  14. THE WORST I HAVE EVER USED!!
I’m a car dealer in the Houston area, and have hired many a transport company in the past to have vehicles picked up from out of state and delivered to me, so I’m no greenie to this. I can honestly say, after many, many of these transactions done between me and various transport companies, 1 Shot express has been the worst.I could go into the big long story, but sick of wasting time on these cretons. Suffice it to say, this company is in the business of collecting deposits, then TRYING to keep their unrealistic promises to as many people as they can, and just keeping deposits of those that they cannot handle. I, unfortunately,am one of those people they wouldn’t keep their promise to. I have already filed a grievance to the BBB, and if that gets me nowhere, I’m contacting Florida’s licensing and regulatory authorities for the interstate trucking industry. You know, State Boys! Nothing will brighten their day more than a little visit from the friendly folks at the Fla. D.O.T. They just love to see all kinds of “paperwork” and such…Real sticklers for perfection!!!

  17. I went through a similar experiences as the others on this forum.I contacted them on 11/4 stating that I needed a committed date of 11/5.They said no problem,a truck would pick up the car I purchased in Florida on 11/6 at the very latest and deliver it to Maryland within 2 to 3 days.I agreed and electronically signed the contract and sent it back.I was told the trucker would contact the person from whom I purchased the car and me on 11/5 to set up transport. When we didn’t hear from them we both called and were told that it would be picked up on 11/8.I said this was unsatisfactory and cancelled the contract in writing(email)and by phone.I called on 11/6 to follow up on the cancellation and had a heated discussion with an employee. He said the truck had been dispatched and would arrive on 11/8.I informed him he had 2 cancellations from me verbal and writing, that he had breeched the contract and I wanted a refund. He tried the same tactic, threatening me with slander.I told him unless he had a law degree to look up slander before he threw out the term.It made me laugh as I had spent 23 years in the Maryland court system as a court assessor.I then contacted my cc company to dispute the charge and wrote to BBB,I found out they have a rating of D- and a 3 star rating on Transport Reviews(a low rating comparitively speaking. My advice is don’t use a broker, contact a carrier and save yourself the aggravation of dealing with these people who make a commission for a phone call you could do yourself. If my dispute on the charge isn’t resolved or the BBB doesn’t get a resolution.I will write to the Florida attorney general’s office abd the Florida DOT.The trucker they hired did call on Wednesday 11/10 to pick up the car only to be told the contract had been cancelled. They didn’t even have the courtesy to inform him they had received a cancellation.

I contracted with 1 Shot Express for a pick up date of Sat. Feb. 5th, 2011. The 5th came and I was not contacted at all. In the afternoon I called them and was told that the dispatcher was on the phone and I would receive a call back. No one called for 3 days. After 4 days of no contact from 1 Shot Express (other than me calling them and asking for an update – “someone will call you back in just a minute”) I called and canceled the order. Within an hour I received an email stating that they would keep the $150 security deposit. According to the contract, as they were eager to point out, they have 7 days from the date they promise you to actually pick up your car. And no – they are not like a normal reputable company – once they have your money you have no recourse.

The moral of the story – DO NOT USE A CAR TRANSPORT SERVICE THAT CHARGES A FEE UPFRONT. The reputable companies will not charge your credit card until they have actually provided a service. BE CAREFUL!!

My Name is: Chris****** Sch*** and my order number with 1 Shot Express was: 67328-TZ Placed on Jan. 18th, 2011. My experience with this company was truly horrible and it made an otherwise pleasant long distance move much more stressful.

  21. I contacted this company because they were located in the area of the car I purchased.I explained the importance of having my car picked up on 11/5 and the reasons for this. They assured me it would be on 11/5 or 11/6 at the latest, reluctantly I agreed on 11/6 as the alternative. The man awaiting the car to be picked up,worked and needed a transport pickup date/time so he didn’t have to wait all day for a driver. The driver was to contact the pickup on 11/5 and when he didn’t I called to find out what was going on with the pickup.I was told the pickup would be Monday and I stated that was not the agreement and immediately cancelled my order.I requested that my 200.00 down payment be refunded and was told billing would handle that but that chances are that I wouldn’t get a refund.I then immediately contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge since no services were rendered and I had cancelled immediately upon finding out the car would not be picked up when requested and agreed upon.On Saturday I emailed an employee to confirm my cancellation again in writing and was told a truck was on the way Monday and we should let the car be picked up and transported.I told him that I had cancelled the order because they didn’t meet our agreement. No truck showed or called on Monday .On Wednesday a driver called the pickup person and said he was on his way to pick up the car but was informed the order had been cancelled. Not only was the pickup not on 11/5,11/6,or 11/8 it wouldn’t have been until 11/10,even then it was a phone call telling the pickup person he was on his way.As an after thought I checked BBB of Cental Florida, filed a complaint and checked several other transport review sites. Please check before you decide on whom you wish to pickup and deliver your vehicle and make sure you are well informed on the issue.I am sure there will be a response to this but again my only advice is check all possible sources of information before deciding.I am sure this company has successes but I was not one of them.Beware of this company!

They are incredibly persistent and friendly and then once you agree and give them your CC number they just VANISH INTO THIN AIR!

I already filed a fraud claim with visa, just based on them completely failing to contact me or follow through on ANYTHING within moments of taking the deposit. Unreal. I’m going to send this to Visa so they can investigate the company further as well.
